L'Art et la Matière Burlats Tarn

"The ‘Artisans Créateurs Tarnais’ association, founded in October 2005, currently brings together around 25 craftspeople at the L’Art et la Matière shop and online store, located in the magnificent medieval village of Burlats. Having come together to meet a need for visibility and to showcase their unique and original creations, they are committed to raising public awareness of a particular way of life and approach to consumption. The shop aims to encourage people to consume more responsibly by promoting local craftspeople and short supply chains, through direct sales from their workshops.
‘L’Art et la Matière’ strives to convey an image of quality and originality through both traditional and modern craftsmanship. The shop is committed to responsible and sustainable consumption. It offers a wide range of products to suit all budgets, including pastel blue in all its forms, home décor to suit all tastes, souvenirs from the Sidobre region… and, every three months, pop-up shops with ever-changing selections for the most dedicated customers!
