In Rue du Moulin, you’ll see a half-timbered house on your right dating from the Middle Ages, which once housed a craftsman’s workshop.
As you climb towards the penstock, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the valley. You can also admire the view over the village of Brassac and the hamlet of Castelnau de Brassac.
You will then walk alongside an old irrigation channel (béal) that used to carry water to the fulling mill (for pressing cloth).
This path runs along the route of the narrow-gauge railway line (from Castres to Brassac), which you follow as far as the station square.
You can find full details of the route by downloading the attached PDF file.
