A property situated in the centre of the small village of Vabre is all yours. The studio is ideal for a single person or a couple, with its queen-size bed. It can accommodate an additional adult or children by pulling out the sofa bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a wood-burning stove and a bathroom just opposite. Fast Wi-Fi throughout. Good-quality bed linen and towels included. Dogs welcome. A comfortable place to stay overnight.
The house is situated in the centre of the village, yet just a stone’s throw from the forest and 15 minutes from the Sidobre; a place with gigantic boulders that defy the laws of gravity.
Accommodation
You’ll be staying on the ground floor of a small house in the village. It’s a studio flat, meaning it comprises a single room containing: a sofa bed, which is very comfortable for two people; an alcove with a single bed; a dining area; a fireplace; and a fully equipped kitchen separated by a half-wall. Opposite is a bathroom with a very good shower. The bathroom is private.
The floors in the house are wooden, so you can hear everyone else… That’s the only real drawback of this property.
Guest access
The house is situated in the village centre but right by the river and a stone’s throw from the forest. So you have all the amenities of a village but the tranquillity of the countryside.
In the village, there is a very good little restaurant, a café, a butcher’s, two grocery shops, a chemist’s, a newsagent’s and several churches and temples. There is a small clinic with doctors and a dentist. Everything is within walking distance.
There is a small bus to take you to the station in Castres.
The forest trails are just a stone’s throw from the house.

You can park right next to the house, either on Rue de Vabrez or in front of the old town hall. It’s easy, free and safe.
