A fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, capsule coffee machine (Nespresso-style), air conditioning and heating. Bed linen and towels provided.
You’ll enjoy free access to our heated indoor swimming pool and spa from 1 May to 30 October during set opening hours, which are negotiable (bathrobes provided).
As animal lovers ourselves and owners of two dogs who follow us everywhere, we are delighted to welcome your four-legged friends at no extra cost. A dog bar will be available for them.
Vabre, the mountain village
Nestled at the confluence of two steep-sided valleys, Vabre has managed to preserve its natural and authentic character. A place of refuge since time immemorial, Vabre is part of the ‘Villes et Villages des Justes de France’ network.
Situated on the banks of the Gijou, the village has retained its mountain character with its granite-framed houses, its belfry and its restored wash houses. The village is unique in that it lies on the edge of the Sidobre massif and the Monts de Lacaune, making it a good starting point for exploring the region.
Whether you’re a wine lover or a fan of local produce, an explorer at heart or a weekend hiker, the granite rocks of the Sidobre, 13 km away, the Himalayan footbridge in Mazamet, 35 km away, or the vineyards of Gaillac, 60 km away, are sure to enchant you.
The village is situated 50 km from Albi, an episcopal city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its cathedral (one of the finest in France), its Toulouse-Lautrec museum, its historic centre and its old bridges. The village of Cordes-Sur-Ciel, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, is 80 km away.
