In the heart of the Sidobre, in the charming hamlet of La Garrigue, this small cottage immerses you in a unique natural setting of deep forests and incredible granite rock formations. Perched on a hillside near SaintSalvydelaBalme, it’s the perfect base for discovering the must-sees of the Sidobre: the Chaos de la Balme (accessible on foot), the Chapeau de Napoléon, the Peyro Clabado or the Roc de l’Oie. Shaped by time, this territory is as fascinating as it is surprising.
The gîte also allows you to explore other highlights of the Tarn: Castres and its colorful riverside houses, the Goya museum, the lively local markets; the Mazamet footbridge and the Arn valley; or the hilltop villages and hiking trails of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park.
Attached to the owner’s house, the gîte opens onto a welcoming living area with lounge, TV, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and dining space. Wifi is available so you can stay connected while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Upstairs:
- One bedroom with a double bed (140x190)
- One bedroom with four beds (two bunk beds and two pull-out beds)
A bathroom with toilet and washing machine.
/!\ Bed linen and towels are not provided.
The outdoor spaces are designed for leisure and relaxation: a small terrace with barbecue for outdoor meals, a covered outdoor games room with table tennis, a swing set, a sandbox, a trampoline, and a pétanque court. A few steps away, a large shared swimming pool (open June to September) with sun loungers and parasols awaits you.
The owners also offer a second gîte in the hamlet (ref. G1389), perfect for hosting additional guests or enjoying a holiday with friends or family, each with your own space.
