In the Tarn region, in the heart of the Sidobre massif, Lacrouzette is a must-see for lovers of nature and geological curiosities. This unique region, entirely shaped by granite, is home to iconic natural sites such as Peyro Clabado, Roc de l'Oie, and Lac du Merle, where rocks seem to emerge from the water or the forest. Just a stone's throw from the cottage, marked trails lead you through a landscape as surprising as it is exotic. The village itself pays homage to this ubiquitous stone with, among other things, a monumental statue dedicated to granite cutters, the work of local artist Jacques Bourges. Albi, Castres, and the villages of the Pays de Cocagne are easily accessible for a variety of activities.
