Clinging to the slopes of the Agout Valley and the granite Sidobre massif, isolated in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park, in the heart of nature, the hamlet has become a gîte village, entirely dedicated to holidays.
"La Gorge", with its typical Haut Languedoc architecture, is a detached house in the middle of the hamlet, on the edge of the forest. In the past, the ground floor was used to house the animals. These stables were used for natural heating and the first floor of the building was used as a home.
A beautiful outside staircase leads to the living room with open-plan kitchen and a bedroom with double bed. Garden level: a bedroom with a double bed, shower room and a sleeping area with two bunk beds.
So as not to burden you unnecessarily, we provide sheets, towels, pool towels and small household linen. What's more, the beds will be ready for you.
It has a lovely shaded terrace equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue, from which you can admire the breathtaking view over the Agout valley and enjoy the benefits of this soothing natural environment.
The sun will be waiting for you by the heated swimming pool, which you can share with other holidaymakers, or on the tennis court. There are also basketball, badminton and petanque baskets, as well as children's games to keep you entertained. Don't forget your walking shoes or mountain bikes to discover the Sidobre and its incredible rocks, the Lac du Merle, the Saut de la Truite, and many other wonders...
The villages of Lacrouzette and Vabre have all you need: mini-market, bakery, butcher, chemist, restaurant, delicatessen....
