Watercolour Exhibition

A self-taught painter, Jean-Marc Potlet discovered watercolour in 1992, after exploring various artistic techniques. Since then, it has become his passion, and he has developed an artistic world inspired by landscapes, everyday scenes, portraits, flowers and his many travels.

His works, created mainly from his own photographs, reveal a particular appreciation for light and atmosphere. Provence, the region where he grew up, as well as Vietnam, which he discovered in 2015, hold an important place in his work. His artistic journey has led him to exhibit his work several times in both Vietnam and France.

Based in Montredon-Labessonnié, Jean-Marc Potlet is the president of L’Atelier d’Aquarelle, an association founded in 2023 that brings together both beginners and experienced artists who share a passion for practising and exploring watercolour.

This exhibition invites visitors to discover his artistic world, between landscapes, travel and everyday scenes, and to be captivated by the delicacy and luminosity of watercolour.
