The event is a ‘Concentration’ type of event; it is not a sprint race. It is open to all kayakers and canoeists, whether French or from abroad, regardless of whether they are club members or not. Participants may complete the runs at their own pace within the time slots specified by the organisers.
A distinctive feature of the Agout Gathering is the excellent atmosphere and the friendly relationships forged by the kayakers over the years. This spirit continues.
The Agout Gathering is organised by the Castres Burlats Canoë Kayak club with the support of the Tarn departmental committee, the FFCK, the town hall and the Brassac festival committee. Water releases are managed by EDF GEH TARN-AGOUT.
