In the countryside of north-eastern France, wild boars wreaking havoc on crops spark an all-out war between hunters and farmers. Brun, a struggling grain farmer on the verge of bankruptcy, fights to keep his farm afloat. When a local bigwig pushes him too far, he snaps and disappears.
A year later, Fulda, a Corsican gendarme transferred to the region for disciplinary reasons, takes charge of the investigation. With flashes of brilliant intuition and spectacular blunders, his unorthodox methods lead him to the Attilas — wild boars of extraordinary size. But his recent breakup and the vodka clouding his brain are hardly helping. Fortunately, there’s Stéphane, the gendarmerie’s new psychologist, who’s there to bring some order to his chaos — unless, of course, it’s the other way around!
