From the Celtic period to the 14th century, you will find numerous traces of Roquecourbe’s past and history here. You can also enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Castres plain.
Situated 2 km from the village on a hill, this moving and mystical site features the remains of terraces, vats and a forge, evoking the life of the Celts in this area, as well as Cathar sarcophagi such as that of Béatrice de Béziers, and the ruins of a church used in turn by Catholics and Protestants.
You too can leave a trace of your visit in the visitor’s book – if you can find where it’s hidden...
